Failure to follow these instructions can cause serious injury to humans, pets and fish, and may result in complete loss of aquarium livestock.

1. UV-C radiation is extremely harmfulNever look directly at the lit UV lamp. It can cause severe eye damage (including temporary or permanent injury) and skin burns.
   UV light is also harmful to fish, shrimp, plants and other aquatic life if they are directly exposed.
   
2. Correct Placement is MandatoryInstall the lamp only inside a filter chamber, sump, or fully enclosed area where the light cannot shine into the main aquarium.
   Do NOT place the lamp freely in the display tank with fish or plants. Direct exposure can seriously harm or kill your livestock.
   
3. Always fully submerge the lamp before switching it on. Never operate the lamp out of water (running dry will damage it and is dangerous).
4. Disconnect power before installing, removing, cleaning or performing any maintenance.
5. Check for damage Do not use if the quartz glass is cracked or the cable/plug is damaged.
6. Keep out of reach of children and never allow anyone to look at the operating lamp.
7. Recommended usage: Many users run these lamps for limited hours per day (e.g. a few hours) rather than continuously, especially in stable tanks. Continuous use is not always necessary.
8. Not a substitute for good husbandry UV sterilizers only affect organisms that pass through the water flow near the lamp. They do not replace proper filtration, water changes or quarantine practices.
