Sofirn SR12 1450 Lumen 130m Throw Rechargeable EDC Flashlight

The Sofirn SR12 1450 Lumen 130m Throw Rechargeable EDC Flashlight with 18650 Battery is a compact, high-performance light designed for everyday carry and outdoor use, ideal for camping, hiking, and emergency situations. For example, its 1450-lumen output can illuminate a path up to 130 meters, ensuring reliable visibility with a wide, practical beam. With built-in USB-C charging, a side e-switch interface, and a durable build, it offers practical functionality. Featuring a 1-year warranty, this Sofirn SR12 for Outdoor Use suits EDC users, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use

The Sofirn SR12 features a Luminus SFT-25R LED with a 6000K-6500K color temperature, delivering a maximum output of 1450 lumens (sustained for 1 minute 30 seconds) with a beam throw of 130 meters. It is powered by an included 18650 Li-ion battery (3000mAh). It offers multiple modes, controlled by a side e-switch, with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:

Turbo: 1450 lumens for approximately 2 hours
High: 800 lumens for approximately 3 hours
Medium: 200 lumens for approximately 6 hours
Low: 10 lumens for approximately 20 hours
Eco: Intensity not specified (runtime not specified)
The flashlight charges via a built-in USB-C port, taking about 3-4 hours with a 5V charger, and includes an indicating e-switch (green for good charge, red for low) that lights up during operation. It has an IP68 waterproof rating, suitable for submersion up to 2 meters, and features a regulated driver for stable output, though prolonged use on Turbo may generate heat, requiring careful handling. The reduced throw to 130 meters reflects a broader beam design, enhancing close-range illumination and slightly extending runtime on Turbo compared to a tighter throw.
Durable and Compact Design

The Sofirn SR12 is constructed from AL6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a hard-anodized finish, offering durability and corrosion resistance for outdoor conditions like camping or hiking. It measures 112.5mm in length with a head diameter of 25mm, weighing 65g without the battery (approximately 95g with the included 18650 battery), making it ideal for pocket carry. The flashlight features a friction-fit pocket clip, a lanyard attachment point, and a magnetic tailcap, though the clip's strength may vary with wear.

Designed for Outdoor and Everyday Use

The Sofirn SR12 1450 Lumen 130m Throw Rechargeable EDC Flashlight with 18650 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for EDC users, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts needing a reliable, portable light for daily carry, emergencies, or outdoor adventures. For example, its 20-hour low mode ensures extended runtime for overnight tasks, while the wider 130m throw excels in close-to-mid-range illumination, though the side e-switch UI requires practice to cycle through stepped and ramping modes (click for on/off, hold for ramping, double-click for Turbo), and the magnetic tailcap may not hold on all surfaces. The USB-C charging and IP68 rating enhance its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity and rinse it with fresh water after use to maintain performance. The SR12's affordable price, included 18650 battery, and throw-focused design make it a practical choice for outdoor scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for heat management and UI familiarity.
