Description
This soil moisture sensor measures soil humidity and outputs an RS485 signal. It is powered by 12-24V DC low voltage and is not connected to mains electricity. The probe is made of ABS and 316 stainless steel, sealed with epoxy resin, and rated IP68. Moisture range is 0-100%, with accuracy of 3% from 0-53% and 5% from 53-100%. Response time is under 1 second, and power consumption is 0.15W at 12V DC, 25 . It can be fully buried in soil or have its probes inserted into the measured medium. Suitable for irrigation, greenhouses, soil testing and experiments.
