The Spuhr SP-5602 Ideal Scope Mount System (ISMS) provides an ultra-rugged, precision-machined optical mounting platform purpose-built for heavy-duty tactical rifles and long-range precision shooting platforms utilizing 35mm main-tube rifle scopes. CNC-machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T651 billet aluminum and finished with a durable MIL-A-8625 Type III hardcoat anodization, this one-piece mount eliminates structural flex, mitigates scope-tube stress, and delivers dependable zero retention under sustained, heavy recoil. Engineered to clamp securely to standard MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny and STANAG 4694 rails, it provides a stable, repeatable foundation designed to withstand the harshest field conditions.

Featuring a 38 mm optical centerline height, the mount easily accommodates 35mm scopes equipped with large objective lenses up to 56mm, providing generous clearance for sunshades, protective lens covers, and forward-mounted night vision or thermal optics while supporting an ergonomic cheek weld on flat-top receiver setups. The integrated 6 MIL (20.6 MOA) forward cant significantly increases available elevation travel, allowing long-distance shooters to dial in precise bullet-drop compensation at extended ranges without maxing out their scope's elevation turrets. Spuhr's signature 45-degree diagonally split ring geometry offers an unobstructed, direct line of sight to both windage and elevation turrets while maintaining easy, natural access to magnification and adjustment controls.

Built for fast setup and dead-true field accuracy, the SP-5602 features a precision bubble level integrated directly into the rear bridge to eliminate rifle canting errors at the moment of firing. The mount base includes a specialized channel designed for use with the included Spuhr 10-degree leveling wedge, enabling foolproof, parallel optic indexing without relying on external plumb bobs or feeler gauges.

In addition, the mount incorporates Spuhr's patented modular interface pattern across the ring surfaces and body, allowing direct, low-profile attachment of secondary reflex sights, laser rangefinders, and angle indicators without adding rail clutter or throwing off firearm balance.
