- the best cleaning method for stainless steel finishes is to use a mild diluted detergent in warm water and rub in the direction of the finish.
- it is best to select cleaners that say 'suitable for stainless steel'.
- rinse and wipe dry afterwards. Silicone based household polish, can be used on the cleaned and dried surface, but is not usually required.
- household cleaners (like handy andy) are not ideal do not use course abrasive powders or metallic scourers or "silver cleaners".
