How to Sublimate the Bar Mat & Mouse Pad (Step-by-Step Guide)
What You Need:
1. Sublimation printer
2. Sublimation ink
3. Sublimation paper
4. Heat-resistant tape
5. Heat press machine (large format)
6. Teflon sheet or parchment paper
7. Lint roller

Procedure:
Step 1: Prepare Your Design
- Create or select a high-resolution design (300 DPI) in software like Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or Canva.
- Ensure the print size matches the bar mat's dimensions (78cm x 30cm).
- Mirror (flip) the image before printing (sublimation prints in reverse).

Step 2: Print the Design
- Load sublimation paper into your sublimation printer.
- Print your design using sublimation ink.
- Allow the print to dry completely before handling.

Step 3: Prepare the Bar Mat for Sublimation
- Use a lint roller to remove any dust or debris from the polyester surface.
- Pre-press the mat at 180 C for 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

Step 4: Position the Printed Design
- Place the printed design (face down) onto the bar mat.
- Use heat-resistant tape to secure the paper in place to prevent shifting.

Step 5: Heat Press Application
- Set your heat press to 180-200 C.
- Adjust the timer to 60 seconds with medium pressure.
- Cover the bar mat with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper to protect it.
- Press down firmly and evenly for the full duration.

Step 6: Remove and Finish
- Carefully remove the sublimation paper while it's still warm.
- Let the mat cool down completely before use.
