Description
The Ryoba is a double edge saw (Crosscut and Rip cut) used for cutting larger wood stock quickly while maintaining accuracy.
Japanese pull saws don't cut on the push stroke as traditional European saws but, as the name suggests, cuts on the pull stroke. This allows for a much lighter saw weight and thinner blade which results in a cleaner edge and thinner kerf width.
Suizan saws are manufactured in Sanj? in Niigata, Japan, by Japanese master craftsman using top quality Japanese steel resulting in a sharper edge.
