It is flexible and has excellent adhesive properties because it consists of a soft PVC and an natural rubber adhesive. tesa® 53988 adhesive insulation tape can be rolled out easily, it is highly inflammable, is resistant to both ageing and adverse weather conditions. Furthermore, the electrical insulation tape is largely insensitive to softening agents, is certified to VDE, IMQ and SEMKO (IEC 60454-3-1) standards, and is available in eight colors.
