Simply position the attachment over the end of a 3/4-inch outside-diameter copper tube and operate the drill at a controlled speed. The rotating brush helps remove light oxidation, surface residue and debris, creating a cleaner surface for plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration work.

Its durable metal housing supports regular workshop use, while the replaceable internal brush insert allows the tool to be maintained when the bristles become worn.

Directions for Use

1. Switch off and disconnect the drill before installing the attachment.
2. Insert the hex shank securely into the drill chuck.
3. Tighten the chuck according to the drill manufacturer's instructions.
4. Hold the copper pipe securely or clamp it to a stable work surface.
5. Position the cleaning brush over the outside of the pipe end.
6. Operate the drill at a low to moderate speed.
7. Move the attachment gently over the required section using light pressure.
8. Stop the drill and inspect the surface regularly.
9. Wipe away loose debris before installing the fitting or beginning soldering work.

Brush Replacement

1. Disconnect the attachment from the drill.
2. Unscrew and remove the front metal cap.
3. Remove the worn internal brush insert.
4. Fit a compatible replacement brush insert into the housing.
5. Reinstall and securely tighten the cap before use.

Replacement brush inserts are not included unless otherwise specified.

Usage Tips
