Description
This hotend features two filament input fittings feeding into one shared nozzle, allowing a compatible printer setup to switch between two filament colours or materials during printing. Its finned black heatsink supports heat dissipation, while the gold-coloured heating block and fitted nozzle form a compact, integrated hotend assembly.
The TFF hotend is intended for custom builds, replacements and compatible 3D printer upgrades. Correct operation depends on the printer's mounting system, firmware, extruder configuration, electronics and filament-switching setup.

- Switch off and unplug the 3D printer.
- Allow the existing hotend to cool completely.
- Remove the current hotend according to the printer manufacturer's instructions.
- Confirm that the TFF hotend is physically and electrically compatible with the printer.
- Mount the hotend securely using suitable printer-specific hardware.
- Connect the required heater, temperature sensor and cooling system.
- Insert compatible PTFE tubes into both pneumatic fittings.
- Route one filament path into each input.
- Configure the printer firmware, slicer and extruder settings for a dual-input, single-nozzle setup.
- Perform temperature, extrusion, retraction and filament-switching tests.
- Check for smooth feeding through both channels.
- Complete calibration before starting a full print.
- Installation should be completed by a person familiar with 3D printer electronics and hotend systems.
- Disconnect the printer from power before installation or adjustment.
- Hotend components can reach temperatures capable of causing severe burns.
- Allow the complete assembly to cool before touching it.
- Confirm voltage and electrical compatibility before connecting any heater or sensor.
- Do not operate the hotend without a suitable cooling fan and airflow arrangement.
- Incorrect cooling may cause heat creep, feeding problems or filament blockages.
- Ensure the temperature sensor is correctly installed and recognised before heating.
- Never leave the printer unattended during initial testing.
- Keep cables away from the nozzle, heating block and moving components.
- Tighten the nozzle and heating components using the correct hot-tightening procedure where required.
- Do not overtighten the pneumatic fittings or threaded components.
- Stop operation immediately if the temperature reading is unstable or incorrect.
- Follow the printer, mainboard and firmware manufacturers' instructions.
- Keep the heatsink fins clean and free from dust.
- Check that the cooling fan provides unobstructed airflow.
- Remove filament residue from the nozzle carefully.
- Inspect both pneumatic fittings and PTFE tubes regularly.
- Replace worn, burnt or deformed PTFE tubing.
- Check the nozzle and heating block for filament leakage.
- Keep all mounting points secure.
- Inspect heater and sensor wiring for heat damage.
- Perform filament changes at the appropriate printing temperature.
- Use suitable cleaning filament or approved unclogging procedures when required.
- Do not immerse the hotend in water or cleaning liquid.
- Allow the assembly to cool before maintenance.
- The package contains the assembled TFF hotend kit only.
- Mounting screws, printer brackets and other loose components are not included unless physically supplied with the product.
- The 3D printer, filament spools, PTFE tubes, cooling fan, wiring, tools and printed models shown in demonstration images are not included.
- This product uses two filament inputs and one shared nozzle.
- It does not contain two separate nozzles.
- Dual-colour output requires a compatible printer, extruder arrangement, firmware and slicer configuration.
- The hotend does not automatically control filament switching by itself.
- Confirm all mechanical and electrical requirements before installation.
- Product appearance may vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances.
