Adjustable Grooving Width

Compatibility Information

This conversion head is intended for compatible angle grinders featuring:

The term "100-type" generally refers to compact angle grinders designed for approximately 100 mm discs. Compatibility must be confirmed using the actual spindle thread, dimensions and specifications of your grinder.

Not all M10 angle grinders are automatically compatible.

General Installation Guide

1. Switch off the angle grinder and disconnect it from the power supply or remove the battery.
2. Remove the existing disc, flange and related hardware according to the grinder manufacturer's instructions.
3. Confirm that the grinder spindle is an M10 thread and is compatible with the conversion post.
4. Secure the conversion post onto the angle grinder spindle.
5. Position the required compatible cutting disc.
6. Add the required spacer rings to create the desired spacing.
7. Add additional compatible discs and spacers where required.
8. Position the washer and insert the fixing bolt.
9. Tighten the complete assembly securely using suitable tools.
10. Rotate the assembly by hand to confirm that it moves freely and does not contact the guard or grinder body.
11. Refit or correctly position a compatible protective guard before operating the grinder.
12. Test the tool briefly at low load while standing clear of the rotating assembly.

Important Safety Information

• This product must only be installed and operated by someone familiar with angle grinders and cutting accessories.
• Always disconnect the grinder from its power source before installation or adjustment.

• Check that the assembled cutting discs do not contact one another unless specifically intended.
• Confirm that the assembly rotates freely before connecting the grinder to power.
• Allow the grinder to reach full operating speed before making contact with the workpiece.
• Do not apply excessive sideways pressure to cutting discs.
• Keep both hands securely on the grinder during operation.
• Secure the workpiece before cutting or grooving.
• Stop using the tool immediately if excessive vibration, unusual noise or movement occurs.
• Follow the angle grinder and cutting disc manufacturers' operating instructions.
