The Political Philosophy of Hannah Arendt

Hannah Arendt is considered to be one of the seminal political thinkers of the 20th century. This study provides a systematic introduction to her political thought. The author uncovers the four major concepts underpinning Arendt's work: Modernity, action, judgement and citizenship. Reconstructing and evaluating her contribution to political thought, he is able to illustrate her importance to current debates of a truly democratic political culture.
