The Sheep Who Came for Dinner

The eighth book in the internationally bestselling The Lamb Who Came for Dinner series, written by the inimitable Steve Smallman (Poo in the Zoo, The Eyebrows of Doom, The Monkey with the Bright Blue Bottom) and illustrated with warmth by Joelle Dreidemy.

When a flock of sheep arrive in the woods, they can't believe Hotpot lives all alone with a wolf. And a crocodile! How can a hungry wolf look after a cute, cuddly lamb? But when Hotpot and the flock of sheep get caught in a dangerous situation, it's Wolf who comes to the rescue, and the sheep soon learn that true family is about much more than appearances.

This is a heartwarming story that celebrates the idea that non-traditional families can make the happiest of homes. Existing fans of The Lamb Who Came for Dinner series, and readers of The Lion Inside by Rachel Bright and Jim Field, Weirdo by Zadie Smith, Nick Laird, and Magenta Fox, and The Duck Who Didn't Like Water by Steve Small, will love this latest addition to the Hotpot world.
