Thirty years ago, the world ruptured, unleashing molten power that killed millions of fae and gifted a rare few-the Core fae-with magic.

But something else slipped through the cracks: Banes, monstrous beings intent on overrunning the world. After five brutal years, the Banes were banished, leaving behind nine devastating plagues. . . and their children, the Fiends.

Esti, a Fiend and lifelong outcast of Hamelyn, has survived by staying unnoticed. But when a new plague descends, everything changes. The Core fae alone can cleanse the land, and the Piper, Lord Varrik, agrees to lift Hamelyn's rat plague-for a price: one hundred and thirty people, including Esti.

Taken from her home, Esti finds herself trapped with the brooding Lord Varrik. But as animosity sparks into attraction, she must decide whether to trust him, embrace her power and help end the plagues for good.

The legend of the Pied Piper reimagined in this compelling and enchanting adult fantasy duology, bursting with romance, intrigue and secrets.
