Dr. George Washington Carey believed that both Religion and Science had failed to satisfy a basic human need - to understand the puzzle of existence. By fusing his medical knowledge with esoteric studies Dr. Carey devised a new way of looking at biblical characters and events: they were, he believed, coded 'personifications' of the cyclical physiological processes that occur in the human body and which lead an individual to both perfect health and to spiritual illumination. Writing in clear and easy to understand terms, Dr. Carey painstakingly unpicks the hidden meaning of the Bible stories, revealing a priceless treasure trove of information and recondite knowledge. This is a book for all who aspire to spiritual development, a work that can be revisited with profit throughout an individual's life.
