iOS and Android Compatibility: Works with compatible OBD2 applications on both iOS and Android devices, including the free MAXOBD app. Supports all standard OBDII protocols and is compatible with most 12V petrol vehicles manufactured from 1996 onwards. Real-Time Data Monitoring: Monitor various vehicle parameters in real time, including engine RPM, coolant temperature, vehicle speed, intake manifold pressure, throttle position, fuel pressure, calculated engine load, airflow, oxygen sensor voltage and ignition timing. Real-time data helps you monitor vehicle performance and identify potential issues.
Read and Clear Engine Fault Codes: Read both generic and manufacturer-specific diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), with code descriptions available through the app's built-in lookup function. The scanner can also clear supported fault codes and turn off the malfunction indicator light (MIL) when the underlying issue has been addressed. This makes it easier to identify engine-related issues before deciding whether professional servicing is required.
Compact Plug-and-Play Design: No batteries or external cables are required. Measuring approximately 1.88 x 1.57 x 0.9 inches (4.7 x 4.4 x 2.3 cm), the compact scanner plugs directly into the vehicle's 16-pin OBDII diagnostic port, usually located beneath the steering wheel. It draws power directly from the vehicle's OBDII port and features an automatic sleep mode that shuts down approximately 30 minutes after communication ends to help reduce battery drain.
