The TP-DCDC-1224G is a compact and efficient Gigabit Passive PoE Injector and DC-to-DC converter designed to provide regulated 24VDC power over Ethernet from a 9-36VDC power source. Gigabit Ethernet and PoE

Unlike standard 10/100Mbps passive PoE injectors, the TP-DCDC-1224G incorporates a Gigabit PoE inserter, allowing it to be used in Gigabit network installations.

The unit accepts Gigabit Ethernet data through its shielded RJ45 input and passes Gigabit data and passive PoE through the shielded RJ45 output. Power is supplied over the Ethernet cable using the unused pairs.

The passive PoE pinout is:

• Pins 7,8: V-

The connected network equipment must be compatible with 24V passive PoE before use.

DC-DC Voltage Conversion
