In addition to excellent audio performance, the TPA3255 also combines the benefits of high power efficiency and ultra-low power stage idle losses (less than 2.5W). This can be achieved with an 85mR MOSFET and an optimized gate driver scheme. This solution provides a significant reduction in idle loss compared to traditional discrete implementations.
