U-Pol - PLAST X Plastic Texture Coating Aerosol 400ml - Fine Texture

U-POL Plast X #4 Texture Coat is an advanced texture spray that recreates the original moulded, textured finish on plastic car parts.

Made in the United Kingdom by U-POL, it gives spray-gun quality from a convenient 400ml aerosol.

Use it after repairing a damaged bumper to restore the factory grain, or to refresh complete panels, mouldings, mirror housings, trims and dashboards. The Fine texture matches the smoother grain found on most modern bumpers and trims, and you can adjust the texture by changing your spray distance and speed.

How to use:

• Store the can at room temperature for 2 hours before use.
• Clean and degrease the part, ideally with a waterbased plastic cleaner.
• Sand the area, either wet with P600-P800 or dry with P400-P600. Then clean and degrease again.
• Mask off the surrounding area.
• Shake the can for at least 2 minutes.
• Spray a test card first to check that the texture matches.
• Apply 2 light coats from about 30cm away, waiting 3-5 minutes between coats.
• Leave it as a black textured finish, or topcoat after about 15 minutes.
