Installation is simple and efficient. Press down to trigger the pop-up locking mechanism, then lock the plate into place with a secure click. This allows users to switch between equipment quickly, helping improve workflow speed when moving between tripods, gimbals, sliders, rockers and other support systems.

The F50 Long Quick Release Base is designed for Falcam's F50 Long Quick Release Plate and is also compatible with more than 90% of Manfrotto 501-style plates. This makes it useful for creators who already work with 501-style quick release ecosystems or multiple camera support platforms.

Built from 6061 aluminium alloy, the kit is made for strength and long-term reliability. The base supports up to 50kg vertical load capacity and offers 50N-M torsional strength, giving it the rigidity required for demanding cinema camera setups.

Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes provide flexible mounting options for different rigs and accessories. The locking bolt design allows the clamping force to be relaxed so the plate can move forward and backward for balancing before being securely locked in position.

HOW TO USE

Attach the F50 Long Quick Release Base to your tripod, gimbal, slider or compatible support system using the required mounting thread. Secure your camera to the F50 Long Quick Release Plate using the supplied camera fixing screws, then press the plate into the base until it locks with a click. To balance your setup, pull the locking bolt to relax the clamping force, slide the plate forward or backward as needed, then lock it firmly in place before shooting.
