Unheated Fire Opal & Red Sapphire Sterling Silver Ring

The tightly connected concentric circles of bright red sapphires makes this an eye-catching piece.

There are seventy-eight bezel-set diamond-cut sapphires in three split concentric circles that are divided in half by a slender channel of solid sterling silver. In the centre is a 5mm x 7mm unheated Ethiopian fire opal that glows with a yellow-green iridescence.

The highly polished shank is solid and slightly tapered. There is a slightly raised openwork galley.

The ring head measures 15mm x 17mm, presenting 6mm above the finger.

The ring is a size 8 ('P/half' in UK and SA sizing) and weighs 3.7 grams. The ring bears the '925' hallmark for solid sterling silver. It comes with an Independent Valuation Certificate for Insurance purposes of R18'000.00
