The USR-CAN316 CAN FD to RS485/RS232 Converter Gateway is an industrial-grade protocol converter designed to enable seamless bidirectional communication between CAN FD/CAN 2.0 networks and serial communication systems (RS485/RS232). It is specifically engineered for automation, monitoring, and industrial control environments where heterogeneous communication systems must operate together reliably.

Supporting CAN FD (Flexible Data Rate), CAN 2.0A, and CAN 2.0B, the device ensures backward compatibility with legacy CAN systems while enabling high-speed modern data transmission of up to 5 Mbps in the CAN FD data phase.
