And here's a tip for the smart home enthusiasts the smart switch can control much more than just lights, for example, you can set up the smart switch to turn on a heater, or a TV, or even boil a smart kettle.

The smart light switch requires both a live (red) wire and a neural (black) wire. Most houses in South Africa don't come with neutral wires in the light switch box, so you will need an electrician to pull through a neutral wire from the ceiling. This is usually a quick and easy job for an electrician but please be aware that the light switch will not work without the neutral wire. You also need to make sure that the REACH on your Router for the WiFi is on max so that the Light Switch can connect and stay connected. The average reach on a router is 45m .
