Description
The Vortex Solo Tactical R/T 8x36 Monocular is a take-along-everywhere optic built for precise range estimation in a compact, easy-to-handle package. A wide 393 ft field of view delivers a bright, crisp, clear image through 8x magnification and a 36mm objective lens, whether you're glassing terrain or scanning for targets.
The R/T ranging reticle uses mrad-based subtensions along with a secondary quick-ranging system of silhouettes, letting you calculate range by comparing the reticle to objects of known dimension. A separate reticle focus wheel keeps the reticle sharp at any distance, working alongside the main focus wheel for a clear image throughout.
Optically, a premium roof prism and fully multicoated lenses maximize light transmission and clarity, while the rugged, rubber-armored housing is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for reliable waterproof and fogproof performance in any weather. An adjustable, twist-up flared eyecup allows comfortable viewing with or without eyewear, and an integral utility clip attaches securely to a belt, strap, vest or webbing for quick, on-the-go access.
