Common Symptoms of Failure

• Coolant Leaks: Puddles under the car or crusty white/pink residue around the flange body or hose clamps.
• Overheating: Restricted or lost coolant flow causing the temperature gauge to climb.
• Material Degradation: Heat and pressure cause the factory plastic to become brittle, warp, or crack over time.

Replacement Tips

• Inspect the O-Ring/Gasket: Always replace the rubber O-ring or seal when swapping the flange, and clean the mating surface on the engine block completely before installation.
• Lubrication: Apply a thin layer of clean coolant or silicone grease to the new O-ring to prevent it from rolling or tearing during seating.
• Bleed the System: Once installed and refilled with the proper coolant/distilled water mix, bleed the cooling system thoroughly to clear trapped air pockets
