WHIZZER WCI53 In-Ear Monitors, 5-Driver 3-Way Crossover, 4 Tuning Modes

The WHIZZER Kylin WCI53 is a professional in-ear monitor built for people who listen closely - musicians, studio engineers, producers and audiophiles who need to hear what is actually in the recording. It is part of Whizzer's 8th Anniversary Representative Series, and every pair is hand-finished with a carbon-fibre faceplate inlaid with handmade gold leaf or a natural wood-grain panel.

FIVE DRIVERS, THREE-WAY CROSSOVER. Each earpiece carries a five-driver array arranged in a three-way crossover: a Knowles four balanced-armature array handles the midrange and treble, while Whizzer's self-developed 6th-generation dynamic driver delivers the low end. Ten drivers in total work together through a digitally fine-tuned crossover for a frequency response of 6 Hz - 40 kHz, with clean separation between bass, mids and highs.

FOUR TUNING MODES ON BOARD. Slide the two DIP tuning switches on each earpiece to change the sound signature to suit the track: Pop Vocal Mode (forward vocals for modern pop), Classic Vocal Mode (balanced, natural vocals), ACG / Anime Mode (lively and detailed for soundtracks and electronic music) and Pure Monitoring Mode (neutral and revealing for mixing). An additional FR regulator lets you fine-tune high-frequency gain and vocal gain independently.

UP TO 27.2 dB OF PASSIVE ISOLATION. The shells sit deep and secure in the ear, blocking up to 27.2 dB of external noise with no electronics - no batteries, no active noise cancelling to colour the sound. Noisy stages, commutes and crowded rooms stay outside; your music stays clean and immersive inside. Less noise also means you can listen at lower volumes.

ENGINEERED, NOT JUST ASSEMBLED. FEA simulation and a redesigned front acoustic cavity reach structural tolerances conventional manufacturing cannot; digital moulding with 3D scanning (precision far beyond the naked eye) corrects every contour for a comfortable, stable fit. Left and right earpieces can even be paired with different finishes - gold leaf on one side, wood grain on the other.

DETACHABLE 7N OFC CABLE. A thick braided 7N OFC cable with a standard detachable 2-pin connection and colour-coded left/right rings. Cables are user-replaceable, and the pre-formed over-ear hooks reduce microphonic noise while you move.
