Widex Nanocare Wax Guards: 5x Packs of 8 (40 Units)

The Widex Nanocare Wax Guard helps to protect your device against earwax. After daily use, check on a regular basis that your existing Widex Nanocare Wax Guard has not become blocked with earwax. If you find that the sound output from your device is weaker/diminished, this maybe a sure sign that your Widex Nanocare Wax Guard needs to be changed.

To change your Widex Nanocare Wax Guard (Refer to relevant Image):
1. Open the 8 Pack Wax Guard case and remove one of the 8 black sticks;
2. Insert the removal hook end of the black stick into the USED Wax Guard on your device. The removal hook automatically attaches to the USED Wax Guard;
3. Pull the used Wax Guard straight out;
4. Turn the black stick around so that the NEW Wax Guard on the other end of the black stick is facing your device
5. Insert the NEW Wax Guard straight into the opening of the sound outlet of your device;
6. Withdraw the black stick straight out. The NEW Wax Guard will automatically detach itself from the black stick into the sound outlet of your device
7. Press the NEW Wax Guard gently against a flat surface to ensure that it is firmly in place.

-Earwax production varies from one individual to another. On average, your Widex Nanocare Wax Guard should be changed every 2 weeks or sooner if you are prone to excessive earwax production. Therefore on average this supply of 5x Packs of 8 (40) Wax Guards will last you 80 weeks (if you wear one device) or 40 weeks (if you wear two devices).

NOTE:
-The wax guard is for one-time use only and is not intended to be cleaned
- If the wax guard fits loosely, discard and try a new one. If still loose, contact your device manufacturer or hearing care professional as the sound outlet receptacle for the wax guard may need to be changed
- If the wax guard falls off inside your ear, contact your doctor or hearing care professional to have it removed. Do NOT attempt to remove the wax guard yourself
