Wow Tools Pruning Saw & Protective Cover - 350mm

A pruning saw is a single-bladed tool designed for cutting through wood, particularly branches and shrubs.

Purpose: Pruning saws are used for heftier tasks than bypass or anvil pruners. They handle wood
approximately 2 inches in diameter, making them ideal for branches that are too thick for shears but
not large enough for a bow saw or chainsaw.

Design: These saws come with straight or curved blades. Straight blades are best for branches
between your shoulders and waist, while curved blades work well for pruning lower or higher up.
-Longer blades can cut thicker wood, but sharpness and operator strength also matter.

Uses:
-Removing Horizontal Branches: Start cutting from the top of the branch, pulling the saw toward you
with downward pressure.
-Pruning Vertical Branches: Use the saw to make clean, precise cuts, improving plant health and
aesthetics.

Benefits:
-Access to Tight Spaces: Pruning saws fit into narrow or fiddly spaces between branches and trunks.
-Control and Precision: Their sharp teeth allow accurate cuts.
-Reduced Tree Damage: Unlike larger saws, they minimize harm to the tree.
