Description
The XMAX DP-1 is built to withstand the physical demands of frequent use, featuring a die-cast metal body and a heavy-duty steel mesh grille. Internally, it features a tailored frequency response (50Hz-15kHz) that emphasizes vocal clarity and a built-in spherical filter to reduce "plosives" (popping sounds) and wind noise.
This microphone is a "plug-and-play" solution for most portable PA systems and powered mixers, as it comes standard with a 3-meter XLR-to-Jack cable.
Key Features
- Tailored Vocal Response: Specifically tuned to provide clarity and presence for both singing and speech.
- Cardioid Pickup Pattern: Focuses on the sound directly in front of the mic, significantly reducing feedback and ambient noise from the sides and rear.
- Rugged Construction: The all-metal design and steel mesh grille ensure durability against accidental drops and rough handling.
- Integrated On/Off Switch: Allows the user to easily mute the microphone when not in use, providing better control on stage.
- Built-in Pop Filter: An internal filter minimizes breath noises and "P" pops without the need for an external foam windscreen.
- Complete Starter Kit: Includes a 3-meter cable, making it ready for immediate use with standard amplifiers and mixers.
Ideal Applications
- Live Vocals: A dependable choice for backing vocalists or lead singers.
- Public Address (PA): Ideal for announcements at sports events, school assemblies, and corporate functions.
- Karaoke: The durable build and simple mute switch make it a favorite for home or venue karaoke setups.
- Podcasting: Provides a focused signal for entry-level content creators and broadcasters.
