XY-BNC-AL-4S/S BNC Male to Dual Stackable/Shrouded Banana Plug Cord 1.2m

The XY-BNC-AL-4S/S is a professional-grade BNC Male to Dual 4mm Banana Plug Test Cordset designed for connecting instruments like oscilloscopes, function generators, and frequency counters to electronic circuits, power supplies, or breadboards. This cord translates the coaxial BNC signal (central conductor for signal, shield for ground) into two separate, safe, and versatile 4mm connections.

The key feature of this model is its Stackable/Shrouded 4mm Banana Plugs. The shrouded (fully insulated) design provides enhanced safety, preventing accidental contact with the metal contacts and meeting safety standards often required for test equipment.1 The stackable feature allows for easy chaining, enabling multiple test leads or accessories (like alligator clips) to connect to the same test point simultaneously without increasing connection complexity.2 Built with a 1.2-meter coaxial cable, this cord ensures proper impedance matching (typically 50 ) for accurate high-frequency signal measurements, making it an essential accessory for any electronics test bench.

Key Features

• Dual-Function Banana Plugs: Features Shrouded plugs for enhanced safety and Stackable plugs for versatile connection chaining.
• BNC Interface: BNC Male plug connects seamlessly to standard test equipment outputs/inputs.
• Signal Breakout: Converts the BNC coaxial connection into two separate 4mm lines (Signal and Ground).
• Optimal Signal Integrity: Constructed using high-quality coaxial cable (typically 50 ) to maintain signal fidelity, crucial for high-frequency applications.
• Convenient Length: 1.2 meters (approx. 47 inches) provides practical reach across a workbench.
• Enhanced Safety: The shrouded 4mm plugs offer a higher degree of safety and are required for use with modern safety-rated multimeter and lab equipment sockets.

Application Suitability

This cordset is the standard method for safely transferring an analog signal from BNC-equipped instruments to a standard circuit point:

• Oscilloscope Input: Connecting to the channel input for viewing a signal on a breadboard or terminal.
• Function Generator Output: Applying a sine, square, or arbitrary waveform to a test circuit.
• General Bench Testing: Easily establishing a signal and ground connection for circuit prototyping and diagnostics.
