Description
Zinsser Mold Killing Primer is a water-based fungicidal primer that kills existing mould and mildew on the surface and helps stop it growing back on the dry coating film. It also helps cover residual mould stains for a cleaner, more even finish, and it works under any topcoat. The matt white finish makes it a neat base for walls and ceilings. The 3.78L tin suits whole rooms, basements and larger areas.

Application tips:
Mold Killing Primer is ready to use, so do not thin, dilute or mix it with water, other chemicals or paints; just mix thoroughly before use. Do not apply when the air or surface temperature is below 10 C or drying conditions are poor, and ventilate the area. If the surface is wet, slimy, heavily soiled or has loose growth, remove it first and make sure there is no slime or excess moisture; if mould needs removing before painting, use a registered mildew remover and let the surface dry. Apply generously and evenly with a brush, roller or airless sprayer (0.017-0.019 tip at 2000-2500 psi) so the whole surface is covered, then allow to air dry. It dries to the touch in 30 minutes and can be recoated in 1 hour; for best protection apply the topcoat within 72 hours. Full adhesion and hardness develop in 7 days. For heavy water stains, follow with a Zinsser stain-blocking primer. Not for floors, decks or surfaces in prolonged contact with water. Clean tools in warm soapy water.in 1 hour
