How to take elderberries:

Elderberries must always be cooked, dried, or processed to remove toxic compounds, as raw consumption causes nausea. Common methods include taking 1-3 tablespoons of syrup, drinking tea brewed from dried berries, or using gummies and capsules for immune support. Cook berries for at least 30 minutes to ensure safety.

Safety and Dosage:

Never eat raw: Raw elderberries contain substances that cause cyanide poisoning.

Dosage: A standard adult dose is roughly one tablespoon daily, while children may take one teaspoon.
