The 1550HBK Diecast Aluminium Enclosure is a heavy-duty, precision-engineered housing designed to protect electronic instruments and PCBs in demanding environments. Constructed from rugged diecast aluminium alloy, this enclosure provides strength, durability, and excellent machinability, making it ideal for custom electronic projects.

Finished with a tough textured black polyester powder coat, the enclosure offers long-lasting protection against wear, even after machining. The lap joint construction design helps safeguard against dust and splashing water, while also enhancing EMI/RFI shielding (shielding not provided when water-tight gaskets are used).

The design complies with IP54 protection as standard, with the option to achieve IP66 or IP67 when fitted with upgraded gaskets. Its smooth walls, low draft angle, and absence of internal ribs simplify PCB mounting and connector installation. The cover is securely fastened using stainless steel Philips head machine screws, ensuring a strong and reliable closure.
