The 1550WCBK Diecast Aluminium Enclosure is a rugged, high-quality electronic housing designed for demanding environments. Crafted from tough yet easily machinable diecast aluminum alloy, this enclosure provides superior protection for sensitive electronics. Its lap joint construction offers resistance against dust and splashing water, while also enhancing EMI/RFI shielding when a water-tight gasket is installed.

Available in a natural vibra finish or a light textured black polyester powder coating, the enclosure ensures both durability and aesthetic appeal. The painted version maintains a long-lasting satin finish even after machining, and includes black screws to complement the assembled look. Four M3.5 stainless steel Philips head screws secure the lid into factory-tapped holes, offering a reliable and tight closure.

Designed for flexibility, the 1550WCBK supports IP54 protection without a gasket, IP66 with a gasket, and optional IP67 upgraded gaskets. Its interior features no obstructive ribs, allowing easy installation of connectors or components without additional milling. The low side wall draft angle (2 or less) facilitates easy PCB mounting and component integration.
