CLAMPED LID FOR EASY MAINTENANCE The clamped lid design allows fast access to the strainer basket without tools. Simply release the clamp handle, lift the lid, and remove the basket to clear leaves and debris. The lid O-ring maintains an airtight seal to keep the pump primed. For larger pools with heavy debris loads, easy basket access keeps maintenance efficient. SELF-PRIMING OPERATION The Aqua Max 1.5kW is self-priming, drawing water from below pump level without manual filling each time. Once initially primed, the pump retains water in the volute and re-primes automatically on startup. PUMP PAIRING Pair the 1.5kW with a 5-bag (125kg sand) or 7-bag (175kg sand) sand filter depending on your pool volume. The higher flow rate demands a large filter — undersizing the filter will reduce water clarity and shorten filter cycles between backwashes.
