This is necessary for commercial pools where health regulations require faster water turnover rates, often 4 to 6 hours instead of the residential standard of 8 hours. The increased flow also supports higher bather loads and heavier debris conditions typical of commercial environments. CLAMPED LID FOR EASY MAINTENANCE The clamped lid design allows fast access to the strainer basket without tools.
