2D Barcode Scanner USB QR Code & 1D Reader Plug & Play | ZAPOS - ZAS2D-001

ZAPOS ZAS2D-001 2D Image Barcode Scanner - Scan Everything, Instantly

Whether you're processing sales at a till point, receiving stock in a warehouse, or managing inventory across a busy logistics operation, the right barcode scanner makes the difference between a smooth workflow and a frustrating bottleneck. The ZAPOS ZAS2D-001 is a high-performance 2D imaging scanner that reads virtually every barcode format in use today - from standard 1D retail barcodes to QR codes, Data Matrix, and PDF417 - off paper, labels, and electronic screens alike.

Plug it in, and it works. No drivers, no configuration, no delays.

Why You'll Love It:

• Full 2D & 1D Barcode Compatibility - The ZAS2D-001 reads all major barcode formats including QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, EAN-13, EAN-8, Code 128, Code 39, UPC-A, UPC-E, and Interleaved 2 of 5. One scanner handles every label in your operation, eliminating the need for multiple devices.
• Reads Directly from Screens - Unlike traditional laser scanners, the ZAS2D-001's imaging sensor reads barcodes displayed on smartphones, tablets, and computer monitors. This makes it ideal for digital ticketing, mobile loyalty programmes, and app-based inventory systems.
• USB Plug-and-Play Setup - Simply connect the scanner via USB and it's immediately recognised as an HID input device on Windows, macOS, and Linux - no software installation or driver configuration required. You're up and scanning in seconds.
• Fast, Accurate Scanning Engine - The high-resolution imaging sensor locks onto barcodes quickly, even when labels are damaged, smudged, partially obscured, or printed at low quality. Reduce scan failures and keep queues moving during peak periods.
• Ergonomic Handheld Design - Shaped for extended use, the ZAS2D-001 fits naturally in the hand with a well-balanced grip that reduces fatigue during long scanning sessions. Ideal for operators who scan hundreds of items per shift.
• Versatile Across Industries - Built for retail point-of-sale, warehouse receiving and dispatch, logistics and courier operations, inventory stocktakes, library management, and any environment where reliable barcode reading is essential.
• Durable Build for Daily Use - Constructed to handle the rigours of a busy operational environment, the ZAS2D-001 is built to deliver consistent performance across thousands of daily scans without degradation in read accuracy or speed.

• Store the scanner in a dry environment away from excessive heat, direct sunlight, and liquids when not in use to preserve the imaging sensor and internal components.
• Avoid dropping or subjecting the unit to heavy impacts - while built for daily operational use, significant physical shock can affect scanner alignment and read performance.
