Description
This figure 8 rope descender ring is made of aluminum alloy in red, designed for rappel systems and climbing use. It has a maximum breaking strength of 50KN (5000kg) and fits rope hole diameters of 8-13mm. The large hole is the main load-bearing point, while the small hole connects the rope to the safety belt. It uses friction between the rope and the device to control descent speed or braking. Also suitable for fire rescue and working aloft. Size approx. 17 x 17 x 1.5cm, weight approx. 309g.
