ATEN US5324 2 x 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Sharing Switch - USB-A + USB-C Host

The ATEN US5324 2 x 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Sharing Switchallows two computers to share up to four USB peripherals without repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting devices.

Using the supplied host cables, the US5324 can connect one computer with USB Type-A and one computer with USB-C, making it ideal for workstations that combine newer USB-C laptops with traditional USB-A desktop or notebook systems.

The switch provides three USB Type-A peripheral ports and one USB-C peripheral port, allowing compatible keyboards, mice, printers, USB headsets, cameras, storage devices and other USB peripherals to be shared between the two connected computers.

USB 3.2 Gen 1 supports data transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps, providing fast file transfers and responsive access to compatible USB devices.

ATEN InstaSync technology provides fast USB control switching between the connected computers. The active computer can be selected using either the built-in pushbutton or the included remote port selector, allowing the switching control to be positioned conveniently on your desk.

The US5324 supports hot-plug operation and works with compatible Windows, macOS and Linux systems without requiring additional drivers or software.

For connected USB devices that require additional power, an optional 5V / 1A USB power adapter can be connected to the dedicated USB-C power input.

Compatibility Note

The ATEN US5324 allows two computers to share up to four USB peripherals.

Only one connected computer controls the shared USB peripherals at a time.

The two computer connections on the US5324 itself are USB-C ports. The supplied USB-C to USB-A cable allows one USB-A host computer to connect, while the supplied USB-C to USB-C cable supports a USB-C host computer.

Maximum data transfer speed depends on the connected computers, USB peripherals and cables. Compatible USB 3.2 Gen 1 equipment is required to achieve transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps.

For peripherals requiring additional power, an optional 5V / 1A USB power adapter can be connected to the dedicated USB-C power input.

USB power adapter is not included.
