Description
The BMT HC-05 6-Pin Bluetooth Module is a versatile Bluetooth V2.0 + EDR wireless serial communication module designed to provide simple and reliable wireless connectivity between microcontrollers, computers, smartphones, and embedded systems. Supporting both Master and Slave operating modes, the HC-05 is ideal for Arduino, STM32, AVR, PIC, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other UART-compatible development platforms.
Powered by the industry-proven CSR Bluetooth chipset, the HC-05 enables transparent serial communication over Bluetooth, allowing developers to replace wired UART connections with a convenient wireless link. It is widely used in robotics, home automation, wireless sensor networks, telemetry, industrial monitoring, remote control systems, and educational electronics projects.
Operating from a 3.3V supply (2.7V-4.2V operating range), the module features a standard 6-pin interface for easy connection to microcontrollers. The default UART baud rate is 9600 bps, with configurable communication settings to suit various applications.
The HC-05 supports both Master Mode, allowing it to initiate connections with other Bluetooth devices, and Slave Mode, where it accepts incoming connections from smartphones, tablets, or computers. This flexibility makes it suitable for a broad range of wireless communication projects.
The compact PCB design is easy to integrate into prototypes and production systems while maintaining low power consumption. It is compatible with numerous serial communication applications including wireless data logging, GPS interfaces, smart metering, automation equipment, and remote monitoring systems.
Please Note: This version does not include the full AT Command firmware. Certain AT commands, such as password modification commands (AT+PSWD), are not supported and may return NO KEY or FAIL responses.
