What is moissanite?
Moissanite is a premium stone with characteristics similar to that of a diamond. So similar that moissanite will pass most diamond testing kits. Usually only found naturally in meteors, moissanite is lab-made from silicon carbide and typically has flawless characteristics. It scores an impressive 9.25 on the mohs scale, features a higher brilliance (refractive index of 2.65 vs 2.42 in diamond) and has perfect colour grading (colourless).
