Description
The DM556 is a 2-phase bipolar stepper motor driver designed for 42 and 57 stepper motors. It runs on a DC low-voltage supply of 20-50V DC and must not be connected to mains AC power. Output current is adjustable across 8 levels from 1.0A to 5.6A with 0.5A resolution, using bipolar constant current PWM drive. Input signals are optically isolated, with pulse response frequency up to 200kHz. It suits automatic packaging machines, engraving machines and other automation equipment.
