The HKD DS1307 Real Time Clock (RTC) Module is a versatile and accurate timekeeping solution designed for microcontroller applications such as Arduino, ESP, and Raspberry Pi. Built around the DS1307 RTC chip, it uses the I C bus for communication and comes with an integrated 24C32 32K EEPROM memory, allowing data storage alongside timekeeping functions. This module tracks seconds, minutes, hours, day, dates, months, and years, with built-in leap year compensation up to the year 2100. It supports both 12-hour and 24-hour formats, with an AM/PM flag for flexible time display. The DS1307 also features an automatic power-sense circuit, ensuring smooth switching between main power and battery backup .Equipped with a CR2032/LIR2032 battery holder (battery not included), the module maintains accurate timekeeping even when the primary power supply is off. Its compact design, cascade capability for multiple I C devices, and reliable low-power operation make it ideal for data loggers, embedded systems, robotics, and automation projects.
