Sofirn HS40 2000 Lumen 175m Throw Rechargeable Headlamp

The Sofirn HS40 2000 Lumen 175m Throw Rechargeable Headlamp with 18650 Battery is a versatile, right-angle light designed for everyday carry and outdoor use, ideal for camping, hiking, and emergency situations. For example, its 2000-lumen output can illuminate a path up to 175 meters, ensuring reliable visibility with a focused beam. With built-in USB-C charging, a side e-switch interface, and a durable build, it offers practical functionality. Featuring a 1-year warranty, this Sofirn HS40 for Outdoor Use suits outdoor enthusiasts, campers, and EDC users.

Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use

The Sofirn HS40 features a Luminus SST40 LED with a 6500K or 5300K color temperature, delivering a maximum output of 2000 lumens with a beam throw of 175 meters, powered by an included 18650 Li-ion battery (3000mAh). It offers multiple modes, controlled by a side e-switch, with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:

Turbo: 2000 lumens for approximately 1 hour
High: 800 lumens for approximately 2 hours
Medium: 300 lumens for approximately 8 hours
Low: 1 lumen for approximately 50 hours
Moonlight: 0.5 lumens for approximately 70 hours
The flashlight charges via a built-in USB-C port, taking about 3 hours with a 5V/2A charger, and includes an indicating switch (steady green for sufficient power, steady red for low power, flashing red for critical power) that lights up for 5 seconds after activation. It has an IPX8 waterproof rating, suitable for submersion up to 2 meters (not designed for diving), and features automatic step-down from Turbo to High to prevent overheating, though prolonged use may generate heat, requiring careful handling.
Durable and Compact Design

The Sofirn HS40 is constructed from aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum alloy with a Type III hard-anodized finish, offering durability and corrosion resistance for outdoor conditions like camping or hiking. It measures 111mm in length with a head diameter of 26mm, weighing 65g without the battery (approximately 95g with the included 18650 battery), making it suitable for pocket or headband use. The flashlight features a magnetic tailcap, a removable headband, and a two-way pocket clip, though the clip attachment may limit tailstanding stability.

Designed for Outdoor and Everyday Use

The Sofirn HS40 2000 Lumen 175m Throw Rechargeable Headlamp with 18650 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for outdoor enthusiasts, campers, and EDC users needing a reliable, multi-purpose light for daily activities, emergencies, or outdoor adventures. For example, its 50-hour low mode ensures extended runtime for overnight use, while the magnetic tailcap allows hands-free mounting on metal surfaces, though the side e-switch UI requires practice to cycle through modes (short press to turn on/off, hold to adjust brightness, double-click for Turbo), and the IPX8 rating limits its use to surface submersion. The USB-C charging enhances its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity and rinse it with fresh water after use to maintain performance. The HS40's affordable price, included 18650 battery, and versatile design make it a practical choice for outdoor scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for heat management and UI familiarity.

Note: Ensure the flashlight is turned off or locked (four quick clicks to activate lockout mode) after use to prevent accidental activation, which could drain the battery; the side e-switch can be sensitive. Use the included 18650 battery with proper polarity (positive terminal toward the head), and remove the insulating film before first use or charging. The IPX8 rating supports submersion up to 2 meters but is not designed for diving; avoid prolonged submersion beyond this limit. Handle with care during Turbo mode to avoid burns due to heat buildup, and do not shine the light directly into eyes due to its intensity. Store in a dry place to maintain reliability, and use a 5V/2A charger (not included) for optimal charging. Unscrew the tailcap half a turn during storage to prevent self-discharge.
