TFF - Angle Grinder Polishing Extension Rod Set - M10 - 9-Pieces

Extend the reach of your angle grinder and access recessed, curved or confined areas with the TFF M10 Angle Grinder Extension Rod Set. Designed for compatible M10 angle grinders and polishing accessories, the set positions the polishing or buffing pad farther away from the grinder head for improved access and visibility.

The kit includes three steel extension rods, three silver clamping flanges and three dark backing discs. Each extension rod features an M10 male thread, a cylindrical steel body and a female connection at the opposite end.

Ideal for automotive detailing, wheel polishing, metal fabrication, weld finishing and restoration work where a standard polishing pad may be restricted by the grinder housing.

Directions for Use

1. Disconnect the angle grinder from its power supply or remove the battery.
2. Confirm that the grinder and polishing accessory use a compatible M10 connection.
3. Select one extension rod from the set.
4. Install the appropriate clamping flange and backing disc according to the accessory configuration.
5. Screw the extension rod securely onto the angle grinder spindle or compatible backing assembly.
6. Attach the polishing pad, buffing pad or compatible accessory to the opposite end.
7. Tighten all components securely using the correct tool.
8. Rotate the assembly by hand to confirm that it moves freely and is properly centred.
9. Start the grinder at a low speed and check for unusual vibration before beginning work.
10. Polish the surface using light, controlled pressure.

Usage Tips

• Use the lowest suitable speed for the polishing accessory.
• Keep the pad flat against the surface where possible.
• Avoid excessive pressure, which may cause heat buildup or instability.
• Check and retighten the assembly regularly during extended use.
• Use a clean pad and suitable polishing compound for the material being treated.
• Test the accessory on an inconspicuous area before polishing visible surfaces.

• Confirm that every component is compatible with the grinder's M10 spindle.
• Do not use damaged, bent or excessively worn components.

Important Information

The three included extension rods are the same size and are supplied as separate complete assemblies. They are not designed to be connected end-to-end.

The angle grinder, polishing pad, backing pad, buffing bonnet and other accessories shown in lifestyle images are not included.
