Important Notes - Please Read Before Buying:

• This sensor REQUIRES the EZVIZ Home Gateway A3 to function - it CANNOT work standalone. The T1C is a ZigBee device, not WiFi, so it needs the A3 hub to relay alerts to the cloud and your phone. If you don't have an A3 already, buy them together as a kit.
• EZVIZ App required (free on iOS and Android). Create a free EZVIZ account to register your devices.
• Anti-tamper alarm and instant alerts require the A3 hub to be online (i.e., your home internet must be working). If your internet goes down, the sensor can't alert your phone in real time - though it will sync up when the connection is restored.
• Pet shield is for SMALL to MEDIUM pets only. Very large dogs (e.g. Great Danes, Boerboels, large breeds standing taller than 50cm) may still trigger the sensor even with the shield fitted. Smaller pets (cats, small dogs) are reliably ignored when the sensor is mounted at 50cm+ above pet height.
• Auto-recording on linked EZVIZ cameras requires either a local microSD card in the camera OR an active EZVIZ CloudPlay subscription.
• Detection range is up to 7m - for larger rooms or open-plan areas, multiple sensors may be needed for full coverage.

Care and Maintenance:

• Wipe the surface clean before sticking the sensor down - adhesive bonds best to clean, dry, dust-free surfaces. Hold the sensor in place for 30 seconds when first applying.
• Mount the sensor at the recommended height (1.8 to 2.5m for wall installations) and adjust the head to point at the area you want to monitor. Test the detection by walking through the zone after setup.
• If you have pets, install the pet shield BEFORE first setup and mount the sensor at least 50cm above the highest point your pet can reach (the top of their head when standing).
• Check the EZVIZ App periodically for low-battery warnings. The two-year battery life is based on energy-saving mode - switch to high-performance mode in the app if you need more responsive detection (battery life drops to about a year).
• The sensor is not waterproof - keep it indoors and away from areas exposed to rain, moisture or extreme humidity.
• If the sensor stops responding, check the A3 Gateway's connection to your WiFi router first - most "broken" EZVIZ sensors are actually a gateway / network issue.
