Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle Lion in Wooden Keepsake Gift Box

Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle, Lion - a laser-cut lion-shaped puzzle that arrives in its own wooden keepsake box.

This is a puzzle you give as a gift without wrapping it. The box is wood, not cardboard, printed with the lion's portrait on the lid, and it is good enough to keep on a shelf long after the puzzle inside has been built a dozen times. Inside, the pieces come in a black organza drawstring bag.

The lion itself is drawn in a mandala style, with the mane built from layered feathers and leaves in deep reds, oranges and golds. The puzzle is cut to the outline of the lion's head and mane rather than a rectangle, and hidden among the ordinary pieces are whimsy pieces cut into the shapes of other animals.

Why You'll Love It:

• A wooden gift box, not a cardboard sleeve - The box is sturdy printed wood with a slide-in lid. It looks like a gift on its own and doubles as storage, so the puzzle keeps well between builds.
• Whimsy pieces to find - Some pieces are cut into animal silhouettes instead of standard jigsaw tabs. Spotting them as you go is the part people remember.
• Shaped, not square - The puzzle is cut to the lion's own outline, so the finished picture has the mane's jagged edge instead of a straight border.
• Real laser-cut wood - Solid wooden pieces with clean edges. They sit flat, click together properly and survive being rebuilt far better than cardboard.
• Mandala artwork - Layered feather and leaf patterns in red, orange and gold give the mane real depth, and the pattern makes sorting easier than a photographic image would.
• Organza storage bag - The pieces come in a drawstring bag, so nothing gets lost in the bottom of the box.
• Build it again and again - Because it is wood and it stores properly, this is a puzzle that comes out every few months rather than being built once and shelved.
• A proper gift - Ideal for a birthday, Christmas or a thank you, and it needs no wrapping paper.

About Whimsy Pieces:

Whimsy pieces are a tradition from old hand-cut wooden puzzles. Instead of the usual interlocking tab shape, a few pieces are cut into recognisable silhouettes, here other animals. You do not know how many there are or where they will turn up, which gives you a small reason to look closely at every piece rather than rushing the fill.

Who Is It For:

• Anyone who likes wooden puzzles, mandala art or African wildlife.
• Gift givers who want something that looks considered straight out of the box.
• Families looking for a screen-free project to do together on a quiet afternoon.
