Can I wash the cover?

Yes. The removable cotton cover can be machine washed at 40 C. Remove the controller and cover before washing, and ensure the cover is completely dry before refitting it. Never switch on the heat pad to dry the cover.

Why doesn't my heat pad feel hot enough?

To meet strict European safety standards, your heat pad is designed to provide comfortable, controlled warmth without becoming excessively hot. Depending on the room temperature and application, it can take up to 15 minutes to feel warm and approximately 30-45 minutes to reach its maximum temperature. For faster warming, start on the highest setting. For extended use, switch to a lower setting to maintain comfortable warmth. The outer border remains cooler by design because it contains no heating wires.

My heat pad is not working. What should I do?

Check that the controller is securely connected and that the plug is connected to a working electrical socket. Switch on the controller and check whether the indicator light is illuminated. If the safety system has switched the controller off, do not reconnect or use it with another product. Contact Beurer South Africa to have the controller checked.

Can people with pacemakers use this heat pad?

The electrical and magnetic fields from this device are within applicable safety limits as follows: Electrical field strength: max. 5000 V/m. Magnetic field strength: max. 80 A/m. Magnetic flux density: max. 0.1 mT. However, for additional reassurance, consult your doctor or pacemaker manufacturer before use.
