GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR BEURER GERMANY BM 27+ USB-C BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR

To obtain reliable and comparable blood pressure readings, it is important to follow the instructions for use carefully and measure your blood pressure regularly at the same times each day. Measurements should be taken twice daily, once in the morning after getting up and once in the evening, when you are physically rested and not under stress. Avoid measuring within 30 minutes of eating, drinking, smoking, or exercising, and rest for about five minutes before the first measurement. If multiple readings are taken, allow five minutes between them and repeat a measurement if the result seems doubtful. Blood pressure can be measured on either arm, as differences are normal, but you should always use the arm with the higher readings and measure on the same arm each time, with the cuff positioned at heart level. Remain still and do not talk during the measurement, and keep the device away from strong electromagnetic fields, radio systems, and mobile phones. Because blood pressure naturally fluctuates and individual readings can vary, one-off or irregular measurements are not reliable; accurate assessment is only possible through regular measurements taken under comparable conditions.

WARNINGS

Do not use the device if you are using electrical implants (e.g. pacemakers).

Do not use the device if you have metal implants.

Do not use the cuff on people who have undergone a mastectomy or lymph node clearance.

Do not place the cuff over wounds as this may cause further injury.

Make sure that the cuff is not placed on an arm whose arteries or veins are undergoing medical treatment, e.g. intravascular access or intravascular therapy, or an arteriovenous (AV) shunt.
