Amahle Blue Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth is a naturally occurring mineral powder derived from fossilized remains of diatoms - minute aquatic animals. These are fossilized ancient algal shells (Diatoms/Phytoplankton) that absorb minerals to build their shells. As they die, they form sedimentary deposits that are mined, milled, dried and bagged.

HOW TO USE:

1. Pets External & Internal Parasites:

Treat your pets' exterior and internal parasites. Traditionally used as part of natural parasite-management routines for reducing internal parasite loads. Suggested inclusion rate: Up to 2% of total feed weight. Dogs 1 tsp, Cats 1/2 tsp daily in food. Not intended as a veterinary medicine or replacement for treatment of active infestations.

2. Chicken Coops, Bedding & Dust Baths:

Historically used to help control lice, fleas, and red mites in dust baths, dry coops, and bedding. Use sparingly near feathers, breeding places, and roosts. Steer clear of eyes, nose, and too much dust in the air.

3. Insects - Ants, Fleas, Cockroaches & Crawling Insects:

Has historically been controlled in arid regions. Provides a straightforward mineral-based solution free of artificial chemical residues. Apply sparingly in dry areas where pests are active.

4. Outdoor Garden Use:

Mostly used to combat beetles, ants, and aphids. Apply sparingly over dry soil where pests are active and near impacted plants. After watering or rain, reapply.

5. Slugs and Snails & Absorbent:

Very absorbent and porous. Can be used to absorb tiny amounts of moisture or oil in garages, workshops, dry animal enclosures.
